New York Branch, and Abu Dhabi International Bank, Inc., IVI Due Diligence
Services, Inc. was retained to conduct a Property Condition Survey and
Environmental Site Assessment on The Chrysler Building in New York City.

The Chrysler Building is approximately 78 years old and consists of
1,191,721 SFR and 77-stories. The building is an Art Deco skyscraper
designed by architect William Van Alen for Walter Chrysler to house the
Chrysler Automobile Corporation. The distinctive ornamentation of the
building is based on features that were being used on Chrysler automobiles
at the time. The corners of the 61st floor setbacks are accented with eagle
gargoyles, replicas of the 1929 Chrysler hood ornaments. On the 31st floor
setback, the stainless steel corner ornamentation are replicas of 1929
Chrysler radiator caps. The building is also renowned and recognized for
its terraced spire. The building was designated a landmark by the New York
City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1978.
IVI is a 30-year-old consulting firm comprised of over 130 architects,
engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers. The firm
specializes in project management, facility condition assessment, building
forensic studies, and environmental site assessment and remediation
services.
